Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Nine Verse - 32

"mam hi partha vyapasritya
ye ’pi syuh papa-yonayah
striyo vaishyas tatha shudras
te ’pi yanti param gatim" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Nine verse 32)

"Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, those who take refuge in Me, though they be even of lower birth i.e. Women, Vaishyas (merchants) and Shudras (workers), they too can attain the supreme destination."
